Location of Conference, Hotels and Restaurants

 

Conference Location

The conference takes place at the Mathematik Zentrum (= Center of Mathematics), which is the historical building “Landwirtschaftskammer” (the former chamber of agriculture of the Rheinland) situated in Endenicher Allee 60, 53115 Bonn. 

The conference location is in walking distance from both the hotels recommended on this web page and Bonn main station. Alternatively, you can catch a bus.

From Bonn main station to the Center of Mathematics

You either walk (approx. 15 Minutes), or you take a bus (lines 604, 605, 606, 607) from platform E and get off at the bus stop "Kaufmannstrasse" which is directly in front of the building.

From Hotel MOZART to the Center of Mathematics

You either walk (approx. 10 Minutes), you take a bus (lines 604, 605, 606, 607) from “Bachstrasse” and get off at the bus stop "Kaufmannstrasse" which is directly in front of the building.

To get back to the hotel, you can take the same lines and get off at the stop called “Haydnstrasse”.

Social dinner

For Friday evening we planned a social dinner in the restaurant "Bönnsch" in the city center of Bonn. This place is famous for its local beer, and it also offers a variety of traditional food from the region (menu in englisch).
