Dr. Luca Fresta
I am postdoctoral researcher at the University of Bonn hosted by Prof. Stefan Müller. Previously, I was an SNSF fellow at the University of Bonn and worked with Prof. Massimiliano Gubinelli. I received my Ph.D. in 2020 from the University of Zurich, under the supervision of Prof. Marcello Porta. Here you can find my CV.
Research Interests
I do research in Mathematical Physics, with focus on many-fermion systems and Euclidean quantum field theory. I particularly like to approach "old problems" with non-conventional techniques.
Topics I have been working on include:
- Non-commutative stochastic analysis and stochastic quantisation
- Random Schrödinger operators
- Effective dynamics for many-fermion systems
- Transport in 2d lattice fermionic systems
