YOUNG WOMEN IN PROBABILITY 2014
Bonn, Monday 26 - Wednesday 28 May 2014
The aim of this workshop is to provide a platform for young female researchers in Probability (PhD students and postdocs), to present their work in an environment which can cultivate collaborations.
Furthermore, in order to familiarize the young researchers with new and exciting areas, there will be 3 lectures of 90 minutes by the following plenary speakers.

- Béatrice de Tilière, Paris VI, France
- Anita Winter, Universität Duisburg-Essen, Germany
Moreover there will be 12 slots of 30 minutes and 13 slots of 15 minutes for contributed talks.
Priority will be given to topics concerning:
Statistical mechanics, Interacting particle systems, Stochastic processes, Application of probabilty theory to population dynamics.
There is no gender restriction for the audience, everybody is welcome :-)

We invite young female researchers to submit abstracts for a contributed talk by March 15.
Financial support for travel and accommodation is available for a limited number of young female participants. If you need financial support, we also ask you to apply by March 15.

Financial support
Financial support for travel and accommodation is only available for a limited number of young female participants.
Travel expenses will only be reimbursed up to 200 EUR.
If accepted for financial support, accommodation will be provided by the organizers and will only be provided for up to 3 nights.
Any other form of accommodation expenses will not be covered. Additionnal nights will have to be paid by the participants.
