Davide Macera
I'm a postdoc at the Institute for Applied Mathematics, University of Bonn, supervised by Prof. Johannes Alt. Before joining Bonn, I was a postdoctoral research associate at Durham University's Department of Mathematical Sciences under the supervision of Prof. Sunil Chhita. Before that, did my PhD at Università Degli Studi Roma Tre, where my advisors where Prof. Sasha Sodin (Queen Mary University of London) and Prof. Pietro Caputo.
Research
My interests lies at the interface of probability theory, statistical mechanics, functional analysis and spectral geometry. In particular, here are some areas I've worked/ am working on:
Anderson Localization
- Anderson Localization for the quasi-one-dimensional random operator (with Sasha Sodin)
- Non-Lyapunov annealed dynamical decay for 1d Anderson eigenfunctions
Spectral geometry
